I have high speed internet, but I have it at a college, so sometimes its slow. i can usually play COD MW2 late at night with no trouble, or during the day with lag. My computer says the link speed in 100 mbps.

   Broadband is all that is required, so you should be able to play it even with that bit of lag that you experience in the mornings.
